Cubbon Park

Cubbon Reads is a vibrant silent reading community that gathers every Saturday morning (9am–2pm) at Cubbon Park. Open to all, it's a peaceful, safe outdoor space where book lovers bring their own books and mats, read quietly in the middle of nature, and can connect with other readers if they wish. No memberships, fees, or sign-up—just show up and enjoy reading in the open air. Sessions sometimes end with book sharing and informal discussion. It's welcoming to solo readers, students, and groups, and the movement has spread to cities across India and beyond.
