This is one of a great classics and that's the one reason I started reading. 20 percent and I felt it is really dragging. But I did not want to quit and hence kept on reading. But 50 percent and I gave up completely. Its about two lovers who were not able to join due to society status and the girl gets married to a doctor and when the husband dies at the age of 80, the lover comes back to the girl saying I was waiting for you till now. The girl now a respectable woman in the society is clueless of what and how to respond.
