The shining

Jack Torrance’s new job as the winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel is the perfect chance for a fresh start, but as the harsh Colorado winter sets in and the hotel's dark, sinister history wakes up, the idyllic retreat becomes a terrifying, inescapable trap. His young son Danny, who possesses psychic abilities called "the shining," is the only one to notice the evil forces driving his father toward violence.
